Head to Head Triathlon battle ⚔️
On Sunday July 18th, Jan Frodeno and Lionel Sanders went head to head in a legendary Triathlon. The result? A new world record by Jan Frodeno (7:27:53)!
During the entire event our In The Race platform, combined with other data and broadcast partners like SAP , netventure, Supersapiens, Zwift … ensured everyone could watch this incredible feat via an interactive video stream.
In another historic first, the World Record is minted as an NFT. An NFT, or ‘non-fungible token’, is a unique, digital certificate that is stored on a blockchain and provides certain ownership rights in an asset such as a digital work of art.
The NFT will be minted on July 19th and auctioned. A part of the proceeds will be distributed to The Frodeno Fun(d), a non-profit organisation whose mission is to positively influence the lives of socially disadvantaged children with the help of sport.
